PCB copying is a reverse engineering technique designed to replicate existing electronic products and circuit boards. PCSPCB for you to talk about PCB copy board five steps are?
1. Record Component Information:
First, prepare an original PCB board. Record the model, parameters and position of all components in detail on the paper, especially the direction of the diode, the transistor and the direction of the IC notch. At the same time, use a digital camera to take two photos of the location of the components for later use.
2. Disassembly and Cleaning:
Remove all components and solder from PAD holes. Then, clean the board with alcohol to make sure the surface is clean. Put the board into the scanner and set a high scan resolution to get a clear PCB image. Next, lightly sand the top and bottom layers with water sandpaper until the copper film lightens. Scan the board again and scan the two layers into the computer in color. Make sure the PCB is placed flat in the scanner to get a usable image.
3. Image Processing:
In the image processing software, contrast and brightness are adjusted to ensure that areas with copper film and areas without copper film form a clear contrast. Then convert the image to black and white mode and check that the lines are clear. If the image is not clear, continue adjusting it. Once clear, save the image as two files in black and white BMP format. If problems are found, use image processing software to correct them.
4. Generate PCB File:
Convert two BMP files to PROTEL files. Import these two layers in PROTEL and compare whether their PAD and VIA positions coincide accurately. If not, repeat step 3 until you match. Convert the BMP of the TOP layer to the top.PCB file and draw the lines on the SILK layer (i.e., the yellow layer), placing the device according to the drawing of the second step. Remove the SILK layer when you are done, and repeat the process until all the layers are drawn.
5. Merge and Verify:
Import TOP.PCB and BOT.PCB in PROTEL and combine them into one complete PCB diagram. Using a laser printer, the TOP and BOTTOM layers are individually printed on the transparent film in a 1:1 ratio. Compare the film to the original PCB to make sure there are no errors. If everything is correct, then the PCB copying process is successfully completed.
PCB copying board is a complex work, through this process can extract the technical information of electronic products, so as to imitate and clone. But it needs to be done carefully to ensure accuracy and legality.
